Description

This course introduces students to essential concepts in language testing and educational measurement. It reviews the test design and validation process and explores a variety of methods for the testing of grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening and speaking. By the end of the course students should have the necessary knowledge and skills to critically evaluate test items, and to begin to design and validate their own language tests.
